Multan Sultans veteran all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, spoke about his team's victory over Lahore Qalandars in the first playoff match of the Pakistan Super League at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
During the post-match conference, Pollard credited his team's success to their ability to put pressure on the opposition's bowling attack.

"They (Lahore Qalandars) have a very good bowling attack, but we realized that as soon as you try to get on top of them, they tend to crack," he said.
Pollard explained that his team had a game plan in place to target the Qalandars' bowlers and execute it to perfection. He also praised his team's bowlers for their brilliant performance in the match.
Multan Sultans posted a challenging total of 160/5 against a formidable Lahore Qalandars bowling line-up. The score looked competitive but not unbeatable.
However, the Qalandars had an epic batting collapse and were bundled out for just 76, which is the lowest-ever total in PSL 8 and the third-lowest total in the tournament's history.
With this win, Rizwan-led Multan Sultans reached their third consecutive final of the Pakistan Super League.
