Afridi, Misbah set to clash with Yuvraj, Gambhir in US Masters T10 League

The US Masters T10 League is generating a buzz among cricket fans worldwide as it brings together legends of the game from Pakistan and India.

Former cricketers, Shahid Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq, will be leading the charge for the New York Warriors in the inaugural edition of the league. Joining them in the tournament are former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir, who will be representing New Jersey Legends.

New York Warriors drafted a decent squad, including Kamran Akmal, TM Dilshan, Jonathan Carter, Umaid Asif, Sohail Khan, Murali Vijay, Jerome Taylor, William Perkins, Abdur Rehman, Munaf Patel, Cody Chetty, Chamara Kapugedera and Dhammika Prasad.

Other than Afridi and Misbah, Umar Gul, Mohammad Hafeez, Hammad Azam, Umaid Asif, Sohail Khan, and Abdur Rehman will also be a part of the league.

Chairman Ten Sports Management, Shaji-Ul- Mulk, expressed his excitement about the inclusion of former international players in the league.

"It's fantastic to see that all six teams have constructed well-balanced sides for the first season of the US Masters T10 League. With several former international stars in all line-ups, the competition will certainly be a treat to watch for all cricket fans around the world," said Mulk.

Six teams, including Atlanta Fire, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, New Jersey Legends, New York Warriors, and Texas Chargers, will be competing against each other in the tournament.

The US Masters T10 League's inaugural season will take place from August 18 to August 27, 2023.
