Pakistan skipper Babar Azam bags yet another record in the ongoing Karachi Test against England.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat in the final Test against the three lions, who are playing a longer format game at the city of lights after 22 years.

Pakistan scored 304 runs in the first innings, and in reply, England scored 354 runs with a lead of 50 runs in their pocket.

Pakistan, in their second innings, are currently batting with four players returned back to the pavilion, including skipper Babar.

The 28-year-old scored 54 runs in his innings and joins the legends tally for the milestone he achieved.

Babar Azam becomes the 6th Pakistan batter to score 1000 Test runs in a calendar year.

Reminder for all is that England leads the three-match series 2-0 and are eyeing towards a historical whitewash.
