KP captain disappointed by attendance level for tournament
Fans’ lack of interest in the Pakistan Cup, the country’s premier one-day tournament, has irked Pakistan batsman Muhammad Hafeez and the KP captain has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to allow free entry for fans in the stadium.
The star cricketer took to Twitter to vent out his frustration.
“Shocked to see such low attendance of fans in the stadium during Pakistan Cup in Faisalabad, it is my humble request to PCB to allow free entry for fans in the stadium so that they can enjoy live matches,” he tweeted from his official Twitter account.
It should remain clear that Pakistan’s biggest event of domestic cricket was not properly advertised, even though the ticket price is nominal, the attendance levels were very low during the ongoing tournament.
