Najam Sethi confirms Haroon Rasheed as Chief Selector for Pakistan team

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee led by Najam Sethi held a press conference today to announce some important changes related to the selection committee's post.

During his press conference, Najam Sethi clearly announced the name of Haroon Rasheed as the new Chief selector of the Pakistan Cricket team, as previously reported by Saleem Khaliq on Sunday.

Haroon Rasheed, who was a member of the interim selection committee, resigned from his post to serve as the head of the selection committee with immediate effect.

It is to be noted that Najam Sethi previously fired Mohammad Wasim from the post of chief selector due to his poor performance, and later on, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi was named Interim chief selector till the New Zealand ODI series.
