Pakistan opener featured in club matches despite serving ban

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show-cause notice to cricketer Ahmed Shehzad, after he participated in club matches while serving a period of ineligibility.
PCB has asked Shehzad to explain why proceedings should not be initiated against him for violating the terms of the agreed sanction agreement entered with the board and its Anti-Doping Rules.
Shehzad has been required to respond by or before October 25, 2018.
It must be noted that Shehzad had revealed — through his social media posts — that he has featured in seven matches for Muslim Gymkhana club despite being banned.
